Don't you notice the irony?

Everyone who criticizes Obama's lack of experience or policy is automatically called a racist. While these same people say things like McCain is an old man who will die soon, or who would take this chick seriously? And yet they don't consider themselves ageist or sexist.

  1. Lots of people are haters.

  2. Amen.

  3. No.

  4. thats not irony thats a double standard.

if we dont vote for barack we're racist.

if we dont vote for mccain we support terrorism/muslims and now we are sexist.

may god have mercy on the stupidity of this country.

  5. Uhhh, yeah, I did in fact notice the irony.

  6. To me the irony is bashing McCains' VP pick for a lack of experience and defending Obama who's held high office just 2 years longer.  At least she's not on top of the ticket like Obama is....

  7. That's because Democrats are infants.  They're bodies might look as though they are more mature in age--but they've the brain of a newborn.  Blank slates.

  8. You mean the irony that McCain criticizes Obama for inexperience and then picks a VP that has less than 2 years of experience in state government?

    Yeah, I noticed that too.

  9. pretty bad, huh

  10. well McCain is old, don't know of many 72 year old who r as sharp as the used to be.  Not to mention they forget convos, where they put stuff, and even simple words.  As far Palin, she is a a piece of work with beliefs setting women back 50 years, she deserves it!

  11. this chic that doesn't sound sexist at all

  12. Yeah it is getting out of hand.

  13. It's not irony, it's hateful hypocrisy.  Is this what we want for the US?

  14. You're a racist just like ol'man McCain.

  15. Wait wait wait....everyone on here who criticizes his experience also criticizes the fact that he chose a v.p. who has a lot of experience or a 'good ole boy'...Would you like to continue your discussion of irony or are you starting to get the picture....Those who support Bush support the death penalty and pro-life???? Would you loike to keep talking about irony? Maybe I will go start a war with a country, support, then get mad when it is time to raise taxes since it will cause a huge deficit...Man, there is so much irony around here I am starting to feel like i'm in high school english again!

  16. At the crux of the posturing about Palin's experience and her capacity to serve in the Executive Branch, is a belief that as a woman she can't handle the job.  Obama has far less public service time.  When Hillary ran for the Senate in New York she had Zero experience.  She had been the First Lady and a lawyer in Arkansas.  Had she not been the wife of Bill Clinton would she have garnered the 18 million votes.  Has her track record in the Senate been that stellar.  It comes down to some people are ok if the candidate has a little experience, but if they have a great personality then they get the vote.
