i think we black women are very beautiful if i do say so myself--and i do =)   but what makes us s**y and tends to draw some people in is a secret=) and for the woman who goes by the name 'rich white trash' (which i bet if you remove the rich part thr name would be more fitting)  'yeah the light skinned mixed ones'  all i can say to her is wow.  we come in so many different colors and black will always be beautiful if its mulatto light or ebony black.  thank you very much!

Also why do they always compared mixed women as myself ( African/Semetic , African/Mixture , African/Caucasian , African/Latin , African/Native American and African/Asian ) to dark African women ?

I hate this mentality ... when I visited the USA I got a lot of hatred and stares from some dark black women ... also why do some dark black women whom love to date interracialy hate " light skinned " black women due to black men ( according to many of their rants ) chasing after them ?

Don't they understand that if they ever had a child with a man from another race the same baby will come out just like or similiar to the same woman that they resent ( the " light skinned ***** " ) ?

Some dark black women have issues and they have to get it together ... I mean quite frankly ... the other day I heard a black woman say that " You know I have an Asian man ... and no I'm not mixed !!! " ... what is wrong with her ?

I'm sorry but I have nothing to do with this fiasco or what happened through slavery or whatever the " media " tells them ... don't listen to the " media " and let slavery go ... it's over ... I was depressed for a long time ( and other various reasons ) because of this ... people calling my skin pee ( and never was that comment made by an African ) ... look black women are very beautiful and stop comparing yourself to mixed women or the " white " standard or even the " black " standard ( if that even existed ) because quite frankly I have never heard of white women comparing themselves to mixed women in general !

This is just saddening ... " white " features ... " black " features ... this is not good for anybody

The other day I had a black woman ( when I was still in the USA ... I'm in Africa now ) get angry with me because I don't find Alek Wek very beautiful ... just because she has " black " features she told me ?

( She doesn't know that I'm African by nationality and that I live in a country where more than 80 % of the population is African and dark brown )

To me the standard/ideal is being " moderate " in whatever way ( if that even makes sense ) and have symmetrical features ... I told her that Alek Wek is odd looking and the only things that are pretty about Alek Wek are her cheek bones , her skin tone ( yes I even earned a gasp from the same black woman that I was talking to ) , that her hairstyle is okay ( I had her mouth open wide by that time ) and her lips ... Alek Wek just has some funny ears , sleepy eyes and she is too skinny ... it has nothing to do with being dark ... they sometimes can't see that most people don't see it as light or dark ( or medium ) but the person and the whole package by herself

Note - I do not by any means think that I am better than Western blacks ... those are not my intentions ... it's just that the majority of colorism that I have had came from them and sorry if I generalize too much but I'm tired of this issue

why are you categorizing a group of women like that? i hope you know that not all of us black women have the "sterotypical" black women "body" and what 'features" of black women do you find pretty? are you talkin about the ones who look more "european" then black? hmm... very broad gernolzation your making.

The ones where I live and work are pretty s**y to me but there are s**y women in every race as well as ugly ones so you can't really say one race is s**y. Some people in a specific race can be s**y but not everyone.
