Don't you think Calgon Tablets for your washing machine are a waste of money?

I mean by the time it breaks down you probably could have bought a new one 3-4 times over with the money you wasted on these things.

Very true...  you could even invest the money your meant to be spending on them and be making interest!

They are also supposed to make your laundry feel softer, and reduce the amount of detergent you need in the machine - saving you money on detergent and improving the feel of your clothes.

Also don't forget that replacing a washing machine is a hassel and the logistics itself costs time and money.

Oh and finally, if you look after your washing machine it will retain value (admittedly not much), so you could sell it whenever you wanted a new one.
