  1. I think if they had Bond they would be even better.

I get what you are saying and it's true that they are raising their performances.

They are all about "team" not individual.

  2. They have lots of "stars". McCullum, Vettori, Oram, Southee, Taylor, Styris etc.

I don't think there is any doubt that they miss Shane Bond's bowling but they're doing relatively okay at the moment. Southee looks promising for the future and they have Mills and Martin still, and Vettori is world class.

They're one day game is fine, it's just their Test game that's a problem, but they're only a small cricketing nation with little money anyway (compared to the big nations like Australia, England and India) so they're probably always going to come up a little short in that area. But, again, they have some promising players for the future (Flynn, How, Taylor, Southee etc) who, given the right amount of time to develop, will evolve into great players.

  3. The players that you mentioned are old stars except Bond.

There place has been taken by new stars which are brighter.

And i don't think they are flying.Last one year has been very disappointing for New Zealand.

  4. ur point is not absolutely correct as dey r not performing dat well as dey did when dey had dese players. but ross taylor, tim southee, brendon mccullum have done gr8. but, if the players like bond, etc would have been dere, dey would have crushed eng.

  5. no they r struggling

  6. a team does not need big stars but it needs unity , and a good captain ,  eg in 1983  indian team is considered as a minnow

but due to its unity  and  under a strong captain 'kapil dev '

it win the world cup beating the mighty westindies .
