Don't you think Sarah Palin makes women look bad? Everyone is just supporting her because she's a woman. You're not supposed to vote for someone or not vote for someone just because of their gender or race! You should be looking at WHAT Sarah Palin has done to benefit America....she hasn't really done anything. McCain just chose her because he knew she would get Hillary Clinton's vote JUST because she's a woman. Hillary Clinton got so many votes because she had good ideas, NOT just because she was a woman!!!

Assuming everyone who supports Palin only supports her because she is a woman is just like saying everyone who supports Obama supports him because he's black. For a party that believes so much in diversity, you would think that they would understand that people also differ in political beliefs. But no, if you're conservative, you're wrong. And evil.

It's really ridiculous how hypocritical you people are. Palin shares several of the same flaws as Obama/Biden in terms of experience and population sizes of states. Biden is the senator of Delaware. Look it up, the population is only 200,000 more than Alaska. She is no less qualified for VP than Obama is for President.

She believes and practices what she says, and has been a big benefit to Alaska. She stands up to the oil companies, went after corruption in her own party, and is quite frankly, the perfect woman Republican.

And don't fool yourself. Many many women voted for Hillary to have the first woman President. Many women do not like Hillary.

When was the last time your State sent you a yearly check? Every resident of Alaska gets one. Know where it comes from? From the taxes on oil companies.

When was the last time your state had a gas tax relief and sent every resident a check for $1200 to help with gas prices? Every Alaskan resident did.  And that was Governor Palin's doing.

I think a lot of Hillary supporters (and I was one) are miffed because Obama passed her over for VP, and now BOTH choices for President will make history.

Just because all you Hillary supporters threw your support to Obama simply because he's a Democrat and not for what he says (if you believed in everything has stands for, you would have voted for HIM, not HILLARY), don't go bashing another woman, simply because she's a woman. You wouldn't stand for it with Hillary, but it's OK now? You former Hillary-now-Obama supporters are the epitome of hypocrisy.

No I don't.  Palin has good ideas and good values that make her a valuable conservative to the McCain ticket.  It's well known that McCain leans more to the middle of the road, so Palin will help him pull in the more conservative vote.  

As far as Clinton goes...people did vote for her just because she is a woman...that's something she openly supported.  She talked about women having power and moving forward in her speeches.  If you truely believe all the women who voted for her only voted for her because of her ideas you are drinking koolaid on a daily basis.

And....what has Obama really done for the country?  I'm willing to listen if you can back it up with facts and not opinions.  

How do you know McCain didn't pick her because of her ideals?  Have you talked to him personally about his choice?

She is anti choice, she had a downs child rather than abort it which is supposed to make her a big hero and she cooks a mean caribou burger, none of which qualify her to run the country should something happen to grandpa McCain.
