funny you mention this , last nite i happened to flip the channel and see one of these protests on tv , not one of them had anything important to say other than stop the war , and as a matter of fact one college girl started chanting something like funds for education not war , did i mention she was as big as a house , cut back on the feeding troft and she might afford her education , and no alot of people cant afford an education , but i do believe grants and scholerships still exist . i think the real issue is , people are unhappy and look for anything they can to bytch , moan , and complain , and if it draws them public attention they are on the band wagon .

I think that antiwar protesters who are violent are nothing more than agents of the state trying to provoke an equally violent reaction as a method to stop all protests, or to make the protesters look bad. I don't believe that they are really "protesters"

There are those who use violence to resist attacks by the police and those who use it to fight policies like Free Trade the people doing the violence are Anarchists trying to disrupt it. Being an Anarchist  is not a bad thing sometimes change is necessary or civilization will stagnate.

It is Anarchists who might bring change in the end not Obama and not in an election but in the streets.
