  1. With Gill(KPS)'s sacking by another ((MS)Gill) we are at last out of the tunnel. Indian hockey was a legend (till fifty years back) that none could replicate to date. That artistry is extinct. That's why some Australians who admire the hockey and such skills, and not which country wins what, want to revive it. Amongst them Ric Charlesworth, a legend when he played was the first to state that he wanted to help. Our officious government of India, couldn't be bothered about a person making a personal (individual) statement. The reason is not far to seek. We live in a part of the globe where honesty of every person making such a statement is questionable and questioned. We don't believe 'just like that'. If you want to deal with Indian government who take their governance too seriously, you should be a government yourself or else challenge the them in a court! There ain't no other way.

  2. no

  3. Yes, very dark. Considering the fact that they've been around all these years and have not once qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs. Maybe Darcy Tucker can revitalize his dead career if he suits up for Team India.

  5. we want to think our hocky future must be brighten

  6. Yes... the scene is REALLY pathetic. I mean..... most youngsters think that Cricket is the national sport(and understandably so)

It is of little surprise that kids today go in for sports other than hockey (read: mostly CRICKET) as it doesnt pay to play hockey (literally and otherwise)

It is not long before ths sport becomes extinct

  7. Future of the indian sports is dark,,,,whether it is hockey or athletics or any other sport.... so leave worry and be happy..
