Question:

Don't you think it's disgusting the way Frank Lampard and his agent used the media to get a bumper deal?

He's now on £150,000 per week, and it's recently come out that people that work at big clubs like Chelsea as cleaners and bar staff get very low wages...has it now gone too far?

  1. this is absolutely disgusting and wrong.  Why would Inter want a chubby English underperforming footballer?  He and his agent manipulated the system and now he earns this ridiculous wage.

The only way to profit from this is to invest in McDonald's, everyone should buy 100 shares of McDonald's on Monday since this means Lardpard will spend about £100,000 on Big Mac per week.

  2. i hate lampard, can't stand him the money grabbing eejit. he couldn't sign a contract earlier and now he has, saying the support he got from chelsea for his mothers death is the reason he decided to stay on. hmmm yeah right!

  3. not really its called business but have u noticed how cleaners and bar staff regardless of were they work get very low wages it dont matter hu they work for

  4. It's not just Lampard.

In case you haven't notice everybody in professional sports is overpaid.

  5. fair play to him

  6. Lampard is good but hes not worth anywhere near that ***** wage, the premier league have aloud themselfs to be shafted by players by always giving in to players demands.

  7. If I earn £30k for five years, I would consider that brilliant.  Lots of people earn £15k per annum if that (that takes 10 years). A footballer gets that for 1 week?

Sorry, but I am so off football because of c**p like that.

  8. The whole set up of the game (including transfers, wages, agents etc) is certainly disgusting. There's no other word for it - unless obscene comes to mind.

I feel that the great game is slowly being strangled by the money and business involved and I don't see how it can go on like this, for very much longer.

I have always been a supporter but have now moved to a small club, where the players give one hundred percent on the field - and are not getting anything more than reasonable wages.

Incidentally, foreign players are unheard of - and the club have not increased their prices of admission this season - which to me, says a lot !

  9. I trust, that, the Fatboy (not good enough for England - Tom Huddlestone, Mark Noble, and, Kevin Nolan are a lot better) and, his Agent, inform their great grandchildren (on this kind of wages, they'll outlive the rest of us mere mortals) that; they made their money in a slightly more 'honourable' way, like, 'trading', in a Piccadilly pissoir.
