have s*x when their parents are home? im completely against teenagers having s*x but i just find that if you're gonna do it, do it when they're not home (common sense) LOL even funnier when the parents catch them. serves 'em right in my opinion.

s*x is natural. Don't do it with people you don't like, don't do it to look 'cool'. Do it with a person you love. I don't mind it when teenagers have s*x, as long as they don't do it to look 'cool' or something like that.

I think it's foolish because it invites getting caught by parents like you.

Parents like the one who answered above me here might be a different matter, but as most parents are like the questioner, I for one wish all their back seats, cheap motels, and blankets in the woods the very best.

If parents were more tolerant, and taught real education, safety, emotional maturity, and responsibility, s*x would be seen as exactly what it is - a natural biological and social function that is expressed by biological adults (which occurs FAR EARLIER than the artificial mandate of 18) - and people would be free to have it, safely, in the comfort and privacy of their own (or their SO's) home.

And yes, letting them visit their bedrooms is like giving them permission. So by all means, invite them in. At least you know they're safe there. He's got condoms in the dresser, they can have a shower afterwards, they won't get arrested getting caught outside.

Im a teenager and i dont have s*x yet but if i did i would never do it with my parents home. i think its disrespectful. and that would be really embarassing if my mom walked in so i wouldnt want to take chances heh.

I have a 15 year old and although I cringe at the thought, I think I would almost PREFER him to do it at home than in some park or car somewhere.

Lucky for me he is not at the stage yet that it is relevant - maybe I will change my mind one day if I come home and catch him.

Depends on your definition of "teenager". Nineteen year olds are legal adults where I live. And yes, if my daughter was nineteen, I'd much rather she was safe at home than in a park or back alley somewhere.

I think it's even more stupid when parents allow their teen aged kids to have boyfriends or girlfriends visit them in their bedrooms...  it's like giving them permission.

stupid or not it happens.  I have two sons, who are young, so I don't have to deal yet.  But I remember being a teenager, and I had a long term boyfriend, and we did it when family was home all the time.  I think as a teenager you get caught up in the moment and don't stop and think about the consequences too much.  Don't get me wrong, we thought far enough to use protection, but the when and where never occured to us.

I hope when my sons are teenagers, that I can be open minded enough to be able to realise that it happens, whether you want it to or not.  I would prefer they were open and honest so boundaries can be set, rather than burying my head in the sand.  If they are in a long term relationship, then I would rather they did it in a safe place then do it where they can get into trouble.  I think there comes a time when you have to remember that you can't force them to do or not do anything, but merely pray they do the right thing

I think it's stupid not because they risk getting caught by their parents, but because they are risking bringing a life into the world they cannot properly care for. Besides from being stupid, it's disrespectful! Teenagers want to act like adults and do adult things like have s*x, then they need to do it in their OWN home, one they pay rent for. Not their parents house.
