  1. Yes, I suppose it would be to our advantage to know whether our  mails have been read. It must be one of the more annoying things in our lives not knowing what sort of a reaction our mail has evoked.  Unfortunately in our modern day lives, replying to people´s mails is not taken for granted anymore.
