Every time I cross the road at my green light, one or two cars speed towards me from the front, then stop right before me, scaring me to run crossing that road, and another car sticks just to my heels, waiting eagerly for my foot to go forward, and quick he speeds behind me stressing me out. It is forbidden to come as close as they do, but it always happen to me.

Also, there is at least one accident a month on one of the three intersections below my balcony. That means pedestrians are at risk too!

  1. They are all very unsafe but yes if this happens alot you should take the time out and get information like the time of day and if possible the vehicles license plates numbers and report this to the police department.................

  2. not when i'm driving an 80,000 lb truck   no one is safe

not on roads  sidewalks or streets

  3. Try to get their licence plate number ,and report it to the police. Tailgating is against the law. If you do call, try to use the pay phone cause now a days, you don't have a privacy. Just tell them that if they are interested of what you reported, manned that intersection and checked for violations. You tell them that you don't want any trouble and want to remain anonymous...I hope this helps...

  4. Still,  crossing at intersections is safer than in the middle of the block.

Reasons,   traffic control devices such as lights and stop signs can stop responsible drivers.     Turning corners usually slows a vehicle,   they are full speed in the middle of the block.

As to the driver's conduct,  get tag numbers and report the aggresive arses to the police.  Too many complaints from the same location will normally get an officer there to watch and ticket violators.

  5. wow the drivers seem pretty rude... usually it should be safe, but that intersection doesnt seem it... id try another way of crossing that road before something happens =/

    good luck

  6. if your so afraid, don't cross the road

  7. I suggest that you take a notebook and pencil with you and write down the time, location and license plate of the vehicle, with description of make, colour, etc. of vehicle if possible and report same to police.
