  1. Too d**n late.

We've already shipped all our manufacturing jobs

    overseas.

  2. But what would stock the shelves at Wal-Mart?  And where would we get our oil from?

  3. have we ever really been isolationist? Ever since the beginning we've imported from somewhere. I don't think Americans could take it. Close our boarders let nobody in our out. Become a self reliant country? never happen we are way too far gone for that. We used to have a country that took pride in what it made, what do we make now? Nothing and the proof is in what we export, nothing. We are too busy making deals with china, Korea and Taiwan for the next wal-mart shipment. Look how much American made merchandise you can find in wal-mart. I don't think this is what Sam Walton intended. In reality it would take less than 10% of our population to provide everything we need. But where is the fun in not being in oil wars? We HAVE to kill sombody somewhere thats a law isn't it?

  4. Not a bad idea

  5. Well when we were isolationist the whole world turned to c**p not once but twice (World War I and World War II)

Its a dirty job to keep the world in order, but someone has to do it to save billions of lives.
