I have this brother who's 18 years old.Last winter we went on a vacation to a place where the temperature dropped down to minus 47 degrees celsius. My brother got so cold that he started to cry.Don't you think it was a rather childish over-reaction on the part of an 18-year-old guy to cry just because he was cold?

  1. ehhhh everyone is different

  2. yes i do.. i mean who cries at 18 anyway??? and hes a man... i mean seriously?

  3. Do you cry when you get hurt? My brother had his arm broken when he was punched in the 8th grade (he's almost 30 now tho)...broken clean through...he cried...as I'm sure I would if my arm were broken...do you think it was unacceptable for your brother to cry because of his age or because he's a guy or both? I've been pretty darn cold myself before and it is the same sensation as being burned...IT HURTS...crying is both physical and emotional, and that was his way of dealing with pain...give the guy a break; besides, minus 47 is pretty darn cold!!!! It's not like he was sitting in your living room and he cried because the ceiling fan was too high...How do you know how he felt?...have a little compassion!

  4. Yep, it's strange unless he has some nerve damage disease where he is in intense pain when he gets cold. Other than that, it's strange. Next time he does it, give the baby a bottle. And are you sure he was crying just because of that?

  5. I'd say it's pretty unusual.

Poor guy, he must be so embarrassed.
