Don't you think people should lay off the McDonald's stereotypes by now?

I recently read, on a reliable site, that McDonald's is actually the 3rd most healthy of all the fast food! it beats domino's, burger king, in n out etc..

which makes alot of sense, because of all the bad press it gets by pathetic people saying "how bad it is for you" and that "it will make you fat" over the years, has encouraged McDs to get healthier and it is! i will only make you fat if you eat it everyday, and consume like over 1000 calories and then add your dinner snacks etc the rest of the day..

think logically.

Now i think people should leave McDs alone and focus on chinese places or pizza joints.

Do you agree?

  1. i say yes. it's my choice if i want to eat Fattening foods. i don't need someone telling me what i can and can not eat. i love McDonald's anyways. i love eating their fries and nuggets. they are so good.

  2. This is a really interesting question.

I kinda agree. By eating food like McDonald's I am sure that you could and would begin to get fat and gain weight.

McDonalds has dfinately began to change its food, and began to come healthier. I have noticed this as well.

I just dont really like to have their food...but if I did, I would agree with you.

  3. yes lay off. No one forces you to eat their food or any other Fast Food place.

  4. McDonald's still puts profit ahead of health. Wendys, for example, have voluntarily stopped using trans fatty acids in their food and cooking oil. Most McDonalds restaurants continue to use this heart disease causing substance because it preserves their cooking oil for weeks on end.

Once McDonalds decides to put our health at par with their profits I'll stop writing bad things about the restaurant.

  5. ugh Tom S. how ignorant are you?

mcdonalds has been around FOREVER and why all of a sudden now is it such a big deal to be fat an unhealthy? beats me. its not the fast food places responsibility to make sure everyone is exercising an hour a day and eating healthy. its YOUR responsibility.

i think people these days are just all sue happy trying to make some quick money. mcdonalds is the biggest food name out there, making them a very easy target.

people need to stop placing the blame on everything else but themselves for being unhealthy and gaining weight.

PS mcdonalds is not your mother, they are out to make money which is what EVERY business owner is out to do. if i was making as much money as they were and people were STILL buying the crappy food, heck yea i'd sell it to them.

good question, two thumbs up for asking it.

  6. Yes, it seems that people want to blame a restaurant rather than themselves for their poor daily food choices.  Everything in moderation.  Some McDonald's once in awhile is fun.  It's a slice of Americana.  Enjoy!
