Think about it. After his attack speech yesterday I would be feeling a little less comfortable as an Obama supporter if he Mitt was on the ticket. With Palin, the republicans are cheering because she is merely treading water. You can see her up their pinching herself with amazement thinking "Tee-Hee, oh my god I can't believe this is happening!"

  1. I think Romney is very scary after hearing him during his speech at the convention.  He basically said the US should attack just about every country on the face of the earth.  This idiotic war-mongering has got to stop.

None of these candidates, Republicans or Democrats, are any good, and that's why I am voting for Ron Paul.

  2. Or Mike Huckabee. Or Tim Pawlenty.

  3. What are you talking about. Sarah Palin's speech tied Obama's in number of viewers on Obama's last night. Mitt could never have done that and now because of it, McCain has the chance for more viewers than Obama had.

The only one not sitting pretty is the muslim loving, america hating, terrorist's friend Obama.

  4. Yes but they needed to use an unknown inexperienced woman to get the head lines he wasn't getting. I guess bad publicity is ok with them.

  5. Romney, along with other stronger VP choices such as Ridge, Lieberman, and even Giuliani, was never seriously considered because he would not have helped McCain win the group he needs in order to have any chance of winning. Without strong support from the Christian fundamentalists, a Republican cannot win. They would not have supported Romney, as they consider Mormonism to be akin to a cult. Ridge and Giuliani were out because of their pro-choice stance, and Lieberman, well, you know. So the McCain people knew they needed a devoted fundamentalist, and they then decided that a woman would get them the Hillary supporters who were still mad at Obama. Apparently they were unable to find a qualified female fundamentalist in elected office anywhere in the United States.

  6. She is a great choice for VP, she is mainstream Amercia more than any canidate we've had in years.  She is awesome, and totally classy

I feel better about this election now than I have since it started. Obama is a product of the Chicago machine I live in Illinois, he has done nothing for this state. Of course he spent most of his time in office running for President.  This man used a Karan to take his oath of office. He is just dangerous in the white house.

  7. Spoken like a true Democrat.  Unaware of the issues around you.  Mitt Romney comes with baggage.  McCain threw a monkey wrench in the Democrats plans by selecting Palin.  Don't you think the Donkeys had a bevy of attack ads aimed at Romney as VP?

Additionally, I guess you really didn't watch the whole evening, because Romney seemed scripted and predictable.  It was Giuliani who took the gloves off and hit the Obama ticket with a flurry of punches.  His speech was much more explosive than Romney's.  He was the set up man, and Palin knocked them out.

  8. Mitt Romney is a joke who didn't even have the support of his own homestate.

  9. Honestly I think Palin was the best choice.  Look at her record.  She is amazing, and just what this country needs.  She has more experience than the socialist...er...I mean democratic nominee.

  10. Yes.  While Palin is not turning out to be the disaster I feared, I sure would have preferred a VP like Newt Gingrich, Romney, or Giuliani?

  11. NO. lol have you watched the news today?? Palin is a HIT whether you like it or not. :) :) :)

    cheers,

    X

  12. Mitt Romney said he was not interested in a number 2 slot.

  13. Mitt would have been the Republican Joe Biden.  zzzzzzzzzzz

  14. i personally would have preferred Mitt Romney.Palin fills the bill but Romney would have made it a shoe in for sure.i think Mccain still has a chance but i think with this pick, sure is gonna make it harder for him.  i am anxious to see Obama on Oreilly tonight, i think it was poor taste to air this tonight, but to have waited till next week. if you will notice Mccain stayed back out of the way while the dems had their convention, but Obama has not returned that consideration.
