My state just released their utility bills for the last quarter and the biggest spender in energy costs was the Environmental Department. According to the state releases, the Department spent 6 million dollars on energy costs alone. Is this just me, or does this seem pretty hypocritical?

  1. i think what environmentalists have to focus on accessibility of alternative energies.

at the moment, the focus is on awareness....

  2. How beautifully poetic....

  3. It would depend on why the cost was so high. How many buildings and what were their uses? I would contact them or a local news station and see if you can get the answers. It isn't the amount of energy used, but how it was used. Can they be more energy efficient or does the nature of their business require that amount of energy?

  4. haha, thats pretty bad.
