At least investigate the Chinese Gymansts ages, no doubt they are good, but did they follow the rules? With the hundreds of reports of them being underage and the numerous times they registered underage, shouldn't it at least be investigated?

  1. They can do nothing.  But the yanks will probably bribe one of the athletes in a few years, to get them to admit that they were underage, just to cause china to lose face.  Once the athlete is useless to the chinese government, they will be dropped and ignored, so they will need money and turn to the US.

Just like how the US used bribery and technology to pass the drug tests for Marion Jones.

  2. Looks like an investigation is not going to happen because the athletes have proof that they are not underage by their age on their passports.

But if an investigation is to be warranted......

Those who are underage should be disqualified and be stripped of their medals if they are underage...akin to what can happen to them if they are caught doping.

  3. Why should the IOC investigate, the US media are doing a sterling job.  Now once they find the "proof" then they can appeal to the IOC.  All the IOC can do is ask the chinese government for the right documents, not like they can send spies to infiltrate them or something.

The Americans need to put up or shut up.  Tired of all this libel and finger pointing.

  4. I quote "USA Gymnastics officials were clear that the U.S. would not file a complaint and had not filed one."

    No complaint - no investigation.

Also means they know the "proof" everyone speaks of is simply too weak

So no - unless they come up with something more solid, I do not believe that they should harass these girls any longer..

  5. Janelle S. complains and whines almost as much as lady-kim ugly butt.

What a bunch of pro cheating whiny crybaby foreigners. An epic embarrassment to their respective low medal count countries.

  6. They will without a doubt, the truth will come out eventually.

  7. I'm sure that they probably looked into it unofficially...apparently China supplied documentation such as passports which the IOC has verified, there is probably not much more they can do.

  8. I think it should be investigated. But of course if I say that I'm just a "whining American". Wait for Larissa P to get here.
