won't pay child support for their other child(ren) are kind of naïve?

My ex-husband has NEVER paid child support for our son (YES I know, trying to get his wages garnished). He CAN, he just won't do so willingly, saying that I don't deserve it...

Well, his new girlfriend (and ex-mistress, since he cheated on me with her, and left me for her when we were trying to reconcile) got pregnant after being with him after a full.. maybe 4 months of being together.

She knows he doesn't pay anything towards his first child, why on earth would she get pregnant and think it's going to be different? Because, apparently they got pregnant WILLINGLY! after knowing each other a few months... that's just crazy.

I'm not jealous, I'm not in love with my ex, far from that, I'm just wondering why some women are naïve enough to think that the guy would support his 2nd, or 3rd child, when he doesn`t support the first?!?

My thoughts on "the other woman" are that those woman are insecure and not bright. Your question should have been why would she even want a man that doesn take care of his child? That is mind boggling. I believe they think that " well I got him and I'm better than her and, he is going to love me forever and we will show her." That is so asinine.If HE couldn commit before what makes her think that her stuff is that good and going to keep him?

I will say it is not the childrens fault...be the bigger person and attempt earnstly to allow the children to have a relationship.

You will find it all depends on how the woman treats the man also.  Not trying to hurt your feelings, but maybe he knows she will take him straight to court or maybe he wants this new family and has agreed to pay.  There's really no telling.  She could be naive or maybe she just wants a child and could care less if he pays or not.  You can legally force him to pay child support and I would if I were you.

Because they think they are SPECIAL and better than the wife or girlfriend, that the guy left to be with them.And the mistresses seem to always believe  the guy's lies about the wife or girlfriend being mean, cheating,etc.I THINK THE  MISTRESSES ARE MORE STUPID AND PATHETIC,THAN NAIVE!!

They are very stupid.I have a friend that just had a child by a guy just like that.He already had 2 kids he doesn't do anything for.Now he has a 3rd.It is sad that some women still think they will be the one to change a guy because he just hadn't met the right woman yet.Wake up ladies.

then again, I know a guy who does everything for his first child, but, not his second child...  he had a second child with me...and does diddly for her...nothing!!!  =(...  and everything for the first...

he's paying though, not monitarily, but, in other ways, he's supposedly dying, and my 12 year old daughter told me "why should I care?  he never cared about me", and I left it at that!  =)

I think that a lot of times some women are so "in love" that they don't realize or believe that he will cheat on her (like he did to you with her) and when he leaves he won't take responsibility for her child either. I am not saying all men are like this, but most that don't take responsibility to begin with are. What goes around comes around don't worry!
