Don't you wish summer was over already ?

Question

I hate hot weather,screaming kids in pools,16 hours of daylight,and the sun boiling hot at 9 a.m..I wish it was cold ,gray and cloudy.....and when it gets dark at 5:00 p.m.Does anyone out there agree with me?

On some days yes,  but I do like the storms when all they do is cause precipitation and not damaging weather.   But those 90+ days are not so cool..

I do!!! I hate the heat and humidity. I love when it gets dark early. And I'm dying for a cool, extremely rainy day so I can curl up in bed, relax and watch movies! :-)

I would love it if the weather were like your latter description year around.  I don't like the sun, heat, all of that.  A lot of people get depressed by dismal weather.  I, on the other hand, get depressed by sunshiney days and vivid blue skies.

The grass is always greener...

Here in my hemisphere the weather's just as you have described it, cold, gray, and I might add depressing.  I know I'd much prefer summer, if for no other reason than the fact that I don't get sick much in summer.  But yeah, in the middle of summer I tend to find myself wishing for winter.

OMG my husband is just like you.  He loves overcast ugly days.  I can't understand that.  It's just so very depressing.  Give me a sunny beautiful day and I have energy and motivation!  When it's dismal, I just want to sleep.

Somehow, I think people who like ugly days have something very sad within them and it's a sort of self-punishment.  I know that's not really true (or is it?) but it helps me understand why my husband won't join us outside on a beautiful day!
