Two different eras. Two different players. But BOTH were staples for the time they played. Hutson made the position what it is today. Rice just raised the Bar.

Hutson played in an entirely different era.  He may very well have been even faster than Rice believe or not and was well known for his speed.  Hutson scored 99 touchdowns in his career.  During his era the ball was bigger, and offenses were much more run oriented than in Rice's era.  Rice holds nearly every receiving record in NFL history and that cannot be taken away from him.  It's kind of like comparing Dan Marino to Sammy Baugh because the 30's and 40's were a different era of football in how the game was played.

The only player at WR who have more natural talent is Randy Moss, But His Ego got in the way of that, and if the Pats looses 3-4 games in september then i think we will start to see him drop easy passes on just because he's unhappy with the team's performance

That's like comparing Johnny U to Tom Brady......2 different eras......but some would argue that Rice was the BEST of all times.  Largent, Biletnikoff, Swann, Stallworth, Carter......they deserve equal props.
