If England want to teach their fast bowlers how to intimidate the opposition batsmen, they need look no further than former South Africa quick Allan Donald to fill the role. He’s also briefly held the post in 2007, but at the time declined the permanent position. Now though, he says “obviously I would be silly not to consider the position”. It seems like Donald wants the role this time, but will the ECB want him?

Surely the ECB won't find a more qualified candidate for the position. But it's been a month now since Ottis Gibson left and there's still been no new appointment, so the ECB look to be assessing their options.
