Question:

Donating ITEMS???

My neighborhood always has a tag sale and the kids (age 11-14) end up having some sort of fund raiser every year for some charity. This year, it's called "Kids Paradise". There is going to be temporary tattoos, face painting, decorate tye-dye t-shirt, sand art, treasure hunt, water balloon toss, and knock down the bottle. Plus a bake sale, beverage stand, and raffle. Every year, between both the tag sale and the fund raiser we raise almost $1,250. This year, it may be more. The kids are sick of doing boring things where they go to the place and give them money. Any suggestions where they could donate the money but buy things? Thanks in advance.

  1. how about buying hygiene items and give them to a homeless shelter or have them help out at church when your church sponsers a week hosting homeless people like we do here in Macomb Couny, MI. groups like MCREST and MCWARM
