Donkey Kong Country on the Wii?

I was just wondering, on the Donkey Kong Country games on the Wii, is it possible to play them using the Wiimote? I was just wondering, as the Nintendo site says you can't, but surely you only need a few buttons to control such a basic game...?

If you download the game, i think it works best with the classic controller. Because the controls on that controller is kinda the same scheme as the snes controllers. But i dont think so if you play it with wiimote/nunchuck.

you cant use the wiimote. its impossible. read the website. they made the controller and the game, they should no.
