  1. I've been to Paris twice in March.  Most people would probably have considered the weather to be a bit chilly, but I'm from Detroit, so it was okay for me.  I wore a t-shirt and a wool sweater for my daily wandering and I was plenty warm enough.

Don't expect any sunshine, though.  The last time I went in March, it sprinkled every morning and was very foggy in Montmartre.  We had a couple of brief periods of sun, but only for maybe an hour at a time.  One day, we even had frozen sunshine!  It sleeted when there were hardly any clouds!  I never experienced that before.

Even with the weather, I thought it was a very good time to be there because there are fewer tourists than in other seasons. (I've also been there in early June and at new years.)  This means that lines for all museums and other attractions are shorter.  Cafes are less crowded, and you get to see more Parisians than tourists.  By the way, you can still sit outside and have a coffee or meal; many cafes have their sidewalk section either enclosed in some way or with portable heaters.   Also, the street markets are open year round, and going to the market is always a highlight of the trip for me.

All in all, I would say GO and think of me while you're there!  :-)

  2. Bonjour- I visit france almost every year. I am 11 years old and fluent in it. I went in April last year and it did get QUIET cold but once you get back to the hotel/apartment and take a bath, then you are warmed up. I did not even have to take a hot bath after I went out. It is only at NIGHT time when it is cold. But to see the Eifell Towers light sparkle and the light shines around, it is totaly worth it! Also the louvre is amazing. But if you plan to see alot of the paintings/statues then go right when it opens because it is an all day 3 day job. Also a piece of advice. If you want to see alot of the famous statues then go for MORE than a week. We went only for a week and it was not enough time at ALL. Because after the jetlag, your week is gone. Also, if you go to Cannes, take the train to ITaly to go shopping, it is so fun but wherever you go watch out for pick pockets or purse snatchers. (Purse stealers, or in crowded places they will put their hands in your pockets to steal: ipods, and pieces of money.) Hope I helped!

  3. J'aime Paris au mois de maiiiii - I love Paris in may - (or september ) - May .... the gorgeous month -
