Don’t compare Bresnan to me – Andrew Flintoff – Cricket News Update
Former England all-rounder, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Flintoff-c44360, on Thursday urged media and cricket pundits to stop comparing Tim Bresnan with him, saying that the emerging Yorkshire cricketer is much more talented and has a bright future ahead of him.
"I did alright for a little bit but Bresnan's not a replacement for me,” insisted the veteran all-rounder in an interview with
The Sun.

"He's just brilliant, and, I don't think people appreciate what he does. He's obviously very talented as well, but he's strong. He does the hard yards,” said the 34-year-old former Lancashire all-rounder, who retired from international cricket in 2010.
"When it's swinging and nothing is happening, he is like a carthorse. He gets his head down and gets on with it,” he added further.
Bresnan is often compared to Flintoff and legendary England all-rounder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lancashire-c806-born cricketer said that comparisons with the former great were quite unfair to Bresnan, who is just building his career.

"It's hard for any young all-rounder coming into the side after Botham,” said the former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 all-rounder, best known for his prolific performance in the 2005 Ashes series, in which he claimed Player of the Series accolade. "I don't think we've
seen the best of Bresnan with the bat. He's averaging well but I think there's more to come," he added further.
