Dont have a hometown ?

i was born in oakland, but after a week i lived in stockton, then I moved to southern california, at age 6 i moved to japan, at age 9 i moved to san diego, then I moved back to japan, then in 2006 I moved back to san diego, what location would be considered my hometown ?

I'm pretty sure that in a situation like this that you would have your birthplace which is Oakland as your hometown. I mean if you were born on a moving bus on the border of Mexico and America like what would be your country??? America or Mexico ???

It sounds like you are asking what answer to give to 'What city were you born in?' Based on what you give, that would be Oakland.

What is your hometown can have 2 answers. Where do you live now? or where do you consider 'home'? For some that's where they live now, for others it's where they grew up, or others it's where their parents are.
