It really depends on which you like better, but a camaro will likely increase in value while an '07 mustang will decrease in value. If you want a good car that you can make a profit on when you decide to sell, a good condition camaro is the better choice

It depends on what you want it for.  The 1968 Chevy camaro, assuming its in good shape, is a sweet looking car.  But of course it comes with all the problems that older cars come with... the fact that they're old.  No airbags, runs on leaded gas, more maintenance etc.  But still, its a sweet looking ride.

2007 ford mustang, from what I understand they've come a long way in quality but still, suspension is kind of outdated.

If you want out and out performance, its hard to beat a Mitsubishi lancer evo VIII or IX or X or a Subaru STi.  Even though they have 2 or 2.5 liter engines, they're turbo charged and can produce incredible performance.  A evo IX will run you in the neighborhood of $23k and if you put $7k into it you could get a aftermarket suspension setup and get the engine to put out 350 hp easily.  Combine that with the awd drive system they come with and you'll be blowing by stock '07 mustangs and 1968 chevy camaros like they're standing still at the drag strip and on the road racing courses you'd be lapping them.

I'd go for the Subaru STI.  Blows both of them away. You have to put 30 grand in the chevy camaro for it to be a real muscle car. But don't get the ford.

Buy a $30,000 68 Camaro, and YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!, For two reasons.  The Camaro will only go up in value, and the mustang will go straight down!  The Camaro will be WAY more fun to drive.  And the Camaro is WAY cooler!!!  Just make sure you buy smart...

What do you mean only $30,000. That is enough for a brand new 2009 Mustang or the new Camaro SS coming out.

If your going to spend 30,000  Get the vehicle with the better warranty.
