  1. you'll miss it when grandma can no longer ask you about it. my grandma always asks me about school but i never mind. i lost my other grandma a day before my graduation. dont make little things like this into such a big deal.

  2. Yes! i hate it! my dad is a teacher and he hates it too. so my mom doesnt ask. but my grandma and our neighbors and ugh!

  3. I think it is nice of them. They know its the biggest time consuming item in your life right now, along with all it implies. You will miss the small considerate things some day.

  4. Actually if someone asked me now I'd just be surprised ... I'm a little old for school.

But yeah, I always remember people asking me that when I was younger.  And I didn't like it either.  They tell you that you're not supposed to lie, then they go and ask you a question like that :)

  5. Yes. Who REALLY looks forward to things like tests and homework?

    EDIT:

I just saw "Honest Opinioner"s answer, and it made me reflect. I guess I will kind of miss that question when I don't have a grandma or aunt.

  6. No.  My grandmothers are dead.  I would love to hear their voices once more.

  7. My grandma used to ask me that and she would tell me that when she was in school(back in the thirties) she used to get in fights with the other girls because her parents didn't have much money and they used to make fun of her "hand me downs".

Hey ,who knew grandma was a scrapper, lol? But she was very good in running and joined the Track team. By the way, this was a time when minorities weren't always allowed to  play sports, especially females.

But she would show us her ribbons and a couple of trophies. She told us she always wondered what it would be like to be in the Olympics.

My mom was also a track star in her youth, and so was one of my sisters. Now my sister has three daughters who are champions in the Junior Olympics. They just came back from  the Junior Olympics in Detroit. But I still miss hearing my grandma's stories.

Don't ever  miss a chance to take her back to her youth from time to time.

  8. yes, it makes me so mad! they should know the answer is a big h**l NO
