not like people who are old and mean it sincerely, but example:

I'm 17 and this girl i work with, who is also 17, says to me "Hey, hon, can you hand me that"

it doesnt sound bad or anything, it just seems like she's patronizing me.. idk, does this bother anyone else (oh and same when they call you sweety. i just dont think people of my age group should call me that, especially when we arent friends)

  1. i don't hate it as much as i hate dear.

  2. Depends on their gender and if I think they're attractive.

  3. I always call people "honey". I don't even think about, it just comes out.

  4. I know what you mean some girl said that to me the other day and she was like 5 years younger then me. I hate that!

  5. For me it depends. If a person called me "hon" and they are younger than me or my age, I'd like to smack them in the face (but I don't). I mean why would they? I think they're just trying to act older and it's not working. BTW, I only feel this way because I've experienced it so many times in school.

Now if it was my grandma or someone older than me, I'd appreciate it because it shows that they care about you.

But people calling you hon is better than if they are like my eye doctor. Whenever he asks me to do something and I do it (like put my eyes next to the machine), he calls me "good girl". I was like " I'm not a dog!!".

  6. i don thate it..

but i prefer them calling me like hey babeee LOL
