Dont you just hate people with no opinions?

Question

I work with two that dont take a stand in anything. They just go with whatever comes along or whatever sounds good. Today its blue and tomorrows its red. At times they dont even comment. Can one really go through life like that? Just going with the flow. . .

Nay this is a very good and important question. When people do not have opinions about things that touch them directly and even more so indirectly, they become passive in choosing leaders or even worse, abstain from choosing leaders that could make sensible decisions on their behalf. This is the main reason to my mind that we have so much trouble in the world. Politicians are no longer chosen by opinion and merit, but rather on popularity or by default. These leaders then just do what they want while the masses follow like ignorant sheep.

Sorry, I don´t have an opinion on that! Ha, ha.

Some people are so flavourless that they do not know what it is to agree or disagree.  It would be too difficult to form an own opinion, so they think the easiest is just to say yes to red and yes to blue.  And hope that they have not offended anyone in the process.

I've been talking with people from broken childhoods, from homes with hostile and domineering husbands, and who have always been ignored and abused... they are prone to not take much of an opinion stand on stuff as they don't want to set anyone off and its safer for them not to.

In Politics it is called dumbing down the population by ever increasing spin and lies which probably leads to the sitting on the fence syndrome.

For me it depends on how important the issue is  - i usually have an opinion, but some things is just right or wrong because i value it, despite what others think about me for standing up for what i believe in, other issues  i might be more lenient
