Dont you think a butterfly should be renamed to flutterby ?

  1. Yea. I think they should instead just name it after a breed since everyone is used to the "butterfly" terminology.

    Well, it could be worse. Atleast they didn't call moths flutterby's lol.

  4. What is a 'butter' fly? I love those pretty flutterbys. Have called flutterbys  flutterbys for 45 years and don't want to change now.

  5. well, i think that butterfly is really cute... BUT flutterby is super adorable as well... that's a toughie...

  6. I like "butterfly," because of the symbolism of it (Do a Google/Yahoo search for "butterfly+symbolism").

    Comparing the two I tend to think of butterflies having more staying power vs a "flutterby" sounds more like something that is fleeting.
