Well, the elementary particles, such as muons,  which make up our body's cells will be transformed, rather than cease to exist.

And, the outer projections of our thoughts will live on in the consciousness of those who we encountered during our life's journey.

So, in that sense, and many other metaphorical ways, we are forever.
