I love Palin. I know McCain has chosen the best candidate for the job. Now as a strong Christian woman I don’t believe woman shouldnt be wrapped up in politics. I believe men are the best ones to do that. Us woman should stay to other things. But I see why McCain got Palin. She is a strong Christian woman, she believes in creationism and that it should be taught in school. She believes Christian prayer should be done in school. The media is painting Palin to be a bad mom and not ready for the vice presidency. I think they need to lay off her. This Christian woman wants whats best for the country to deep us safe from terrorist and bibles in school. This Georgia Girl is for McCain all the way. McCain Palin 2008!

  1. I am a strong Christian woman too - and I believe that Palin should be staying at home tending to her down syndrome child which she chose to have. That child is a baby.  If she is going to bring a down syndrome child into the world, she needs to take responsibility for him and not pass him off to others for his care.   Not only that, she has a 17 y/o daughter who is pregnant - what does that tell you about her abstinence only position.  If she had been supervising and parenting her daughter properly, this would not have happened.

This Christian Texas gal is all for consistency and honesty.

    Obama 08

  2. Well I think that Janet (above) is wrong.  Yes her 17yr old daughter is pregnant and she is KEEPING the baby.  That to me says that she may not have a good abstinence policy-but at least shes taught her children that abortion is wrong!  Unlike Obama, the self proclaimed Christian who is a big advocate of abortion.  Makes me sick!

Yes I do think that they are way to hard on her and they are only doing that because now shes making McCain look GOOD and they know she will do a good job.

    Don't feed the trolls.

Evangelical Republicans are too cagey about their pro-life, creationism and gender politics to put it all out there so blatantly as you have.

Democrats should choose their battles wisely.

  4. The press is always hard on those who they don't agree with or understand.  That's the way it is.  Is it fair - no!

    I like McCain/Palin 2!

  5. The media go into a frenzy over any minute detail of a person's profile if they choose to run for power. I think Palin is an exceptionally brave choice by the McCain team. And I think she looks like a strong person who will be more than capable for the job.

  6. Fortunately, Mrs. Palin is not running for Mother of America, just VP.  Thanks to the wisdom and forethought of our Founding Fathers, her religious beliefs are blocked by the Constitution from having any effect on our laws (aren't you glad you're a God-fearing Christian?  Don't you wish everyone was?  Don't you wish you make them be by force of Law?  or at the point of a sword?).  However, I think the media are trying too hard to make a story where there isn't one.  I don't remember this much aggression when the previous female candidate for VP was found to have a drug-addict son.

  7. If you seen what the media did to Hillary then expect that or worse with Palin. As a male I can tell you that women don't get fair treatment in politics.

  8. Palin needs the same exact scrutiny that McCain, Biden or Obama would get. I think the circumstances are rather sad and it really should be just her family's business but she chose to accept the VP nomination and of course the media is going to cover this story! It seemingly exposes a whole mess of hypocrisy and the media isn't going to let it go. I'm glad that Obama has told the media to back off but you and I know they aren't going to. It's like throwing a giant juicy steak to a bunch of hungry dogs...

  9. I'm with you mccain all the way , and i believe palin is a great mom she is supporting her daughters decision of having the baby . this shows you that she has done a good job of raising her to have morals and to take responsibility

  10. I don't agree with "women should stay to other things" That is your opinion and view on life, but many others don't share your views. Great about the "Christian woman" thing, but her faith isn't what will help run a country. Here's the thing that looks bad. Palin is all for abstinence and pushing it, yet here is her daughter pregnant and boozing it up. It doesn't look good and puts Palin in a place of hypocrisy. Had she possibly purchased some condoms or bc pills for her child and spoke to her about s*x, vs abstinence, then maybe she would not be 17 and knocked up. No the media is not being to hard on her, her daughter is who I feel sorry for.
