Then they get angry just cause they had to wait an extra .1 of second.

  1. Being a cyclist, following the road rules , being beeped at is not unexpected.

    More often then not, it's all about the driver being impatient, not willing to give up a few seconds of their time.

    Or, they are not sure how to overtake a cyclist safely (a lack of skills on their part).

    Or they are just being nasty - and think it's fun to scare a cyclist or don't want us on the roads.

    In most cases, I just give a friendly wave or ignore them, depending on the situation - It's a matter of showing no fear & not getting angry in return.


  2. Yeah the other day i was waiting at the corner when while a guy was crossing the road the light turned green and i had to wait about 2 seconds for the guy. next thing i know somebodies honkin at me so i look in my mirror and its some old lady who can barely see over her driving wheel

  3. Oh man you ain't kidding.  I get that a lot in NYC.  

    Lots of driver

    Lots of bad driver

    Lots of people with short temper

    Lots of stupid people who don't know the law (or don't care)
