  1. 12/21/12 is BS. We all know that, right? So we can assume that these people aren't "future tellers" and that they're just paraniod.

  2. they are going on what was written a thousand years ago..

  3. Okay, on Dec 21, 2021  the universe will go into the 4th density... which is GOOD!

For more info go to http://www.infinitebeing.com/index.html#...

  4. no just humans we always want to know the unexplained and the future sad isn't it we should live for the day but i think it is just to hard for us to do

  5. I saw this on the history channel, and I have to tell you, it's a little scary! The Incan's* and Myans*, and even the Egyptians were all incredibly smart with astrology and calenders. Every calender from their times all stop on the same day; December 21, 2012. Separate cultures from across the world coming up with the same date? Who knows what it means...

  6. The Miyan calender ends that day. But its probably not true.

  7. To people that say it's a myth: Are you sure?  Because I thought 2012 hasn't happened yet. So how would you know?

It is a prediction that the Mayan Civilization made. They created precise calenders, which so far are very accurate. The calender ends on one exact date. December 21, 2012.

So is it true? We can't be sure, but unlikely, because there have been too many Doomsday predictions, and people won't believe. But what you have to understand, is that the previous predictions had no evidence to support. 2012 has many predictions by many different cultures. It isn't fair for people to say it's totally fake, but in my opinion, unlikely.

  8. they are morons.

  9. It is just a myth which mysteriously propagates (mostly because of the History Channel and YouTube)

The interpretation of the Mayan calendar thing is just plain wrong – it’s just the end of a cycle. And since calendars are based on astronomical motions of one kind or another, they are inherently cyclic. Our western calendar ends on December 31st every year!

Planet X/Nibiru does not exist. If it did we would have found it by now. We have mapped the sky in the infrared several times in the last 25 years (including WMAP, IRAS etc), and it would show up. It is not there. We would have found it if it existed. So all the nonsense about the return of Nibiru/Planet X is just that – nonsense

There is no scientific evidence for the existence of Nibiru

Furthermore, at the distance it must be to hit us in a little over 4 years, it would be reflecting enough light from the sun to be detectable.

Thanx to previous question from Brant and answer from bikenbeer2000, we know how bright it should be by now – it would have a apparent magnitude of 7.4 – which would not be visible with the naked eye – but easily visible in a modest telescope and would have been spotted by amateur. If there was a conspiracy to keep it quiet – it would be out of the bag by now.

Ask someone where it is supposed to be, get a pair of binoculars and look for it.

Furthermore, it is supposed to be in orbit around a brown dwarf. We have detected brown dwarfs at much larger distances than the alleged distance of the sun’s mythical brown dwarf companion, so why haven’t we seen this “star:?

The videos on YouTube that purport to have evidence are disingenuous to say the least. They put together pictures of other objects (e.g. Jupiter, comets even a dust shell around a distant red giant star) and try to scare people. There is no validity to their claims. They present NO EVIDENCE at all.

As for the predicted catastrophes – the most popular one seems to be the Pole Shift!

The sun will have a pole reversal that year – it has one every 11 years – it is not a problem.

The earth’s magnetic field is less predictable –

but is still nothing to worry about: we know that the magnetic field does not collapse in the process of reversing polarity- if it did, there would be major extinctions that correlate with the geologic record for pole reversals - there is no correlation.

Now let’s tackle the “Galactic Alignment”

Here’s a nice site that explains what it means, and explains that is does not happen on December 21st 2012:  http://alignment2012.com/whatisGA.htm

Also see the wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galactic_Al...

which tells you that the precise alignment of the solstice with the Galactic equator was in 1998. It did not cause problems. The Galactic Equator is purely a human construct – not a physical thing. And we do not get any closer to the black hole in the center, which remains approximately 8000 parsecs (26,000 light years) away.

For anyone who has actually seen the History Channel show on this nonsense, did you notice that they never had actual scientists describing the various predictions attributed to scientists? They didn't because no reputable scientist would support those hypotheses.

And the people who were interviewed were all authors, not scientific researchers.

As for telling the future, astronomers can predict the paths of the planets and asteroids pretty well. They work under the laws of physics, which we understand. And we have powerful enough telescopes ot spot big things coming from quite a large distance!

  10. The Mayans made their own calander and their calcander ended in 2012. So now a bunch of people think this means tht the world will end at this time. However I don't think so. I think maybe the Mayans decided that they couldn't be bothered making their calander go a few thousand years further into the future. Poeple do not know for sure if the world is going to end. people are always predicting it but it mainly comes from fear, rather then actual knoledge.

  11. This is just a prediction that the scientists has a estimated guess that the world may end on this time frame.  As of yet, there's no concrete

proof that the world will end by this time or any other time.  It's just

more nonsense that Al Gore has stirred up about Global Warming.

  12. they all work in cubicles and know absolutely NOTHING..

NO one knows when the world is going to come to an end...only lost ppl with little hope and huge ignorance believe this!

  13. The Mayans stopped calculating their calendar at 2012.  But you know what?  The calendar I have ends in December of THIS YEAR!  I don't think we'll make it to 2012.

  14. Unfortunaley its not true, its the end of the Mayan Calender, its a really old calender that they game up with MANY, MANY, MANY hundreds years ago.

And for some reason ppl think that the world will end when it does.

Its a shame it wont though.........

  15. Some people think that, because the Mayan astronomic calendar was very accurate, it's prediction of Doomsday must be accurate. They seem to ignore that the other half of the Mayan calendar (and the two halves worked together like gears) is religious.

  16. NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is a myth but its not true!!!!

  17. i have this from a werbsite in sources i will tell you about each one

Dec 21, 2012 Terence McKenna Terence utilizes something called Novelty Theory to arrive at the conclusion that something, he's not quite sure what, of momentous import will occur on Dec 21, 2012. The list of "somethings" include a hyperspatial breakthrough, planetesimal impact, alien contact or even a quasar ignition at the galactic core.

Sadly, Terence himself will not be around to see these dramatic events: he "relinquished his body" on April 3rd, 2000.

-Answer: First to start There are/is No known Quaisar in the center of our milky way galaxy. In the month of april tho there is a meteor that comes into close contact with earth So close it will Knockout commucncation for a time. There could very well be a biological World Break out though or on a Lesser Chance side alien contact and war fair has a slim chance to none.

-Answer: Every yeear this happens on your refridgherator your calender does end eventualy. then you buy a new one.

2012 Kev Peacock Kev has a scientific explanation for the end of life as we know it in 2012 - a magnetic field reversal in our Sun will likewise cause a field reversal in the Earth, accompanied by massive geothermal and tectonic catastrophes. Along the way, Kev manages to include Atlantis, an Interplanetary Ark, and both Maya and Egyptian mythology.

-Answer: if this were to happen this would take quite some time to happen it would not happen in a matter of Days or weeks this would take Months(7+) or Years even centuries. this has not been proven that this has happend but some reasearch still proposes it very well could happen.

-Answer: Ok here is my over view of this. this is the likely hood the world will end  the earth is around 4.5 BILLION years old there are 365 days in a year.
