Doomsday 2012 and other doomsdays?

Q 1 - do you believe in doomsday 2012?

Q 2 - is there a list or something of all the other doomsday predictions?

Q 1 - Yes.

Q 2 - Scientist warn of a intergalactic event which will affect all of us on that year, technically 2011. There are predictions that go as far as meteor showers, sun spots (the suns violent storms to affect us) increase in volcanic activity earthquakes and bizarre weather all over and polar shift which is a magnetic shift on earth. What we know as north will be south what we know south will be north. Everything is going to change on 2011 or more famously 2012. Hows that for filling you in? If you don't trust me, look for it on google or yahoo! etc.. there are many prophecies not just from Nostradamous. There's the Chi, Hopi indians, the mayans and of course scientist and NASA. Whether it's true I don't know.. it's up for speculation and debate.

Q1 - ANYthing is possible. Do I believe in it? My personal opinion is that it may be a pivotal moment in history where "something" changes from the way things are to a new as-yet unknown future pathway.

Q2 - The web is replete with stories of doomsday predictions. Practically since human beings began writing, they've been predicting/foreseeing a cataclysmic termination of their own existence.

Q1 No.  If I have to explain one more time why the Mayan Long Count Calendar and Nostradamus DON'T predict the end of the world, then I think I'll scream!

Q2 Unknown.  Although there's probably someone on this forum who is sad and boring enough to have a go at compiling one.

A.) This must be at least the fifth time I have answered this question. Before asking something, you need to check if it's been asked before.

B.) There have been predictions about the end of the world since the beginning of time. They have NEVER been right before. Never. The only reason people believe it will end in 2012 is because that date is still ahead of us. It's the fear of the unknown.

Nobody can predict the end of the world.

Q2 : Yes. The first sign is the rise of the Sun from the west for one day. This is where the Earth will start to revolve in the opposite direction. There had been sign of the incident when Mars start to spin in the opposite direction for few minutes before it stops and continue to rotate and revolve around the Sun naturally.
