Door Interlock switch Maytag MDB4100 dishwasher

Question

The Door Interlock switch for my Maytag MDB4100 dishwasher seems to be intermittently turning off the dishwasher during it's cycle. A simple push at the top center on the outside of the door reconnects the switch and it will run for anywhere from 2-seconds to 2 minutes or even through the rest of the cycle. How do I fix it to make a permanent connection?
