Door Opens and closes by itself? ?

A few weeks ago i had my door shut and all of a sudden it flew open and both my parents were asleep in there room so no one was there. My cat was outside and my dog pretty much stays downstairs (he's a good guard dog) & sometimes my dog will start barking in the middle of the night when nothing is out there and i'm sure he doesnt have to go outside to go to the bathroom. Right now my door is creaking open and closing but no one is there. and sometime i can see the door k**b turn. but when that happens i put something in front of the door. lol.

so could this be a ghost?

This happens in my bedroom all of the time, it is because the window is open and the wind currents pull the door open or slam it shut.

If my doorknob started turning by itself I think that would freak me out big time, I think you're best bet is asking your parents if you can move to another room in the house (assuming you have a spare room). Then you just hope it doesn't follow you there. You don't have to tell them about the doorknob turning. I don't know your parents, but they may either believe you or have you committed, just say you want a change of scenery.

  IT could be a ghost, but it could just as well be something else. Wind currents, the AC going on or off causing a suction, or some form of vibration could cause it. THe k**b turning is more definitive.,and suggests the possibility of a ghost. If it is a ghost, just remember there is nothing to be afraid of. Ghosts and spirits are generally harmless. Its not like the movies. It could be a deceased family member paying a friendly visit. I believe that even those who have passed over to the heavenly worlds, are allowed to come back and visit.

Well I'm gonna state the obvious.... (Paranormal Investigator PAY ATTENTION) If you SEE the door k**b turn... this can't be a air current, wind, the aligning of the stars.... blah, blah, blah. What do your feelings tell you?

Yes this may be a ghost. Remember I said MAY be a ghost. But if so, I doubt that there is any devious intent. You may want to have an investigation done to gather evidence.

I think it could be. but not one that knows you're there. it could be residual.

Perhaps you are on the starship Enterprise, or at the supermarket.  The supermarket uses motion sensors to open the doors, it's not supernatural.  The Enterprise uses stagehands to copy the effect.

That happened to me too before.

I was crying because my grandma had just died a few days ago and I felt someone was watching me from the closet. I looked over at it and it opened just a little bit(it was shut all the way) and then closed all the way. It kept doing that and I said "If someones there, just come in." And the door swung open all the way, and latched close. I felt someone there but nothing else happened that night. I believe it was my Grandma Verna.

But back to your question :]

Yes, I'm almost postive it's a spirit.

Oh by the way, all the windows were closed because it was like midnight, and we don't have AC.
