Door knocking and the 40 hour famine?

My friends and I are doing the forty hour famine for the second year in a row. To raise funds we normally go door knocking before and during the weekend. World Vision asks you to collect money during and before the actual famine. What is your opinion on door knocking and raising funds this way? Do you think it is rude to ask people for money after the famine, after you have already eaten? Please help, it is urgent! X

P.S the money from this years famine goes to India and is going to help stop child labor, trafficking and children being sold off to prostitution. If you would like to make a donation please head to www.40hourfamine.com and click >Donate now. You will need my famine booklet number which is:

but it was a 30 hour famine and our youth group did it, we started at like 3 on a friday and then we did a lock in but then the next day while we were doing the famine we asked for donations, that works better cuz then they can understand what you're doing, so do it during. lol
