Door won't open after self cleaning.

Question

we just move into a new house and we tried the self cleaning mode on the frigidaire in wall unit. after cleaning we followed the instructions on the oven but when we try and move the handle from clean to cook it makes a loud buzzing sound and wont move to cook. we can get the handle to cook mode by moving it up or down slightly, but the door still won't open. it feels like it's still locked.
