Doors staying closed on refrigerator

Question

Hi,
I just acquired an 11 yr old refrigerator whose doors won't stay closed. It appears that there rubber seals have a couple of rips in the bottom. Both doors have this problem, but I haven't found any rips in the freezer door. What could be the problem? and what would the solution be for this?
