The meaning of the term "Doosara" is second ofr other in Hindi and Urdu.  A doosra  is a particular type of delivery by an off-spin bowler in the sport of cricket.

The doosra is the off-spinner's equivalent of the leg-spinner's googly, which spins in the opposite direction to the leg spinner's stock ball.

it was invented by Saqlain Mushtaq of Pakistan and its leg spin and doosra mean "other" in Urdu ...when Saqlain Mushtaq was bowling with his normal action thn Moin Khan tells him to use doosar or "other" action.......

Dooosra is a delivery originated by saqlain Mushtaq of Pakistan during the tour of Aus in 1995-96 when he first went there. He was the originator of a delivery that turned away from the right handers while bowled with the same action.

Doosra means 'the other one'..... Doosra is the word used when a off-spinner bowls a leg break......It was an banned by the ICC RULES... Muralidharan was often criticised for bowling doosra........But it was now recognised by ICC

Saqlain Mushtaq is credited with its invention and its name means 'second' or 'other' and its called this because thats what Moin Khan used to tell Saqlain to bowl, his other ball.
