Dopod C730 ....WiFi problem ...

I have been using my phone for ayear now ... the WiFi function worked just fine ... Latly it has diapeared from my Com Manager .... the little box with the WIFI Icon is missing ... I have done a reset ... But still it does not apear .... Is it a hard ware problem ... I wanted to Re instal windows ... but im not sure how to ... Please help ....Also the phone takes a long time to restart .... up to 10 minutes....
