  1. Yes. This is something i learnt from my dad.

If you're going on 15/7 and you buy it on 13/7, the price will be more! When you buy it lets say 1/7 the price will be cheaper!

  2. Prices are the same regardless of the day of the week, month or season that you travel in. Prices will remain constant. If you are younger than 16, you are entitled to half price (demi-tarif).

For more information, see the SBB-CFF-FFS English website, http://www.rail.ch

    Hope this has helped,

  3. There are a VERY limited number of tickets available for a special offer called Click'n'Rail, although as far as I can tell, you can't go straight from Zurich to Geneva, you have to get a Click and Rail from Zurich to Bern, then a regular ticket to Fribourg, then a Click and Rail to Geneva. These must be booked on-line less than two days before you travel (but they may have sold out), and you'll pay 68.80 (34.40 for half-price) instead of 80 (40 for half-price). Also, I believe if you buy your ticket on the train, there's a small (2 franks? 5 franks? not sure) surcharge.

But other than that, no, same price.

  4. no...they do not...

it does not vary acc. to the date you buy them...

they may vary on different trains...

    so don't worry

and yes check out the website of Swiss Rail

    which is rail.ch
