Dorge Kouemaha signs a loan deal with FC Kaiserslautern – Bundesliga news
FC Kaiserslautern have tied knots with former MSV Duisburg striker, Dorge Kouemaha, for the upcoming 2011/12 season. The Red Devils couldn’t meet their objectives in the season ended and have signed the Cameroonian on-loan as a result. With striker Adam
Nemec certain to miss out on most of the first half of the season, Kouemaha will have the opportunity to lead the forward line and his good performances might propel the German club to retain him for a longer term.
Kaiserslautern officials were pleased to have signed the inspirational striker and were hoping to achieve the desired results with the Cameroonian in their ranks. Manager Marco Kurz hailed the abilities of the 28-year-old and reckoned that Kouemaha could
well fill in the boots of injured Nemec. The 25-year-old suffered serious injuries after falling down from a cherry tree last month.
Nemec has expressed disappointment on having to miss the early part of the next season but was confident about the success of the new signing. He wished the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cameroon-c2865 international all the very best for his future and also urged his teammates to provide him
with their best support throughout the season, both on and off the field.
Kouemaha himself was quite delighted to have signed up for a top division outfit and was looking forward to play in the Bundesliga for the first time. Though the player has the experience of playing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904, it was in 2. Bundesliga during the 2008/09
season with Duisburg.
Manager Kurz further added, " Kouemaha is a player who can help us with his power, his size and his aerial ability. He's got a decent turn of pace, he's robust and on top of that he's an experienced frontman. Signing him will also help us compensate for
the long-term injury situation with our striker Adam Nemec."
Kouemaha has joined Kaiserslautern on a one-year loan from a Belgian club, Club Brugge. He became a FCB player in 2009 and managed 19 goals from 67 league games before signing a loan deal with the Red Devils. The striker also has five international appearances
under his belt for the Cameroon national side but is yet to open his scoring account.
