Dorm room essentials?

i'm making a list of things i will need for my dorm room, any suggestions? any advice would be great, thanks!

computer

phone

2 sets of sheets

comforter

plenty of organization stuff

-underbed unit, extra shelving, those fabric shelves you handg in the closet, plastic drawer things (you need to store food, toiletries, makeup, school supplies, etc)

masking tape to hang stuff on the wall

lap desk so that you can do school work in bed

lamp for bed area

bathroom caddy

towels

area rug

cleaning supplies

-lots of lysol (dorms are full of germs), mini broom and dustpan, minivacuum, duster, windex, all purpose cleaner

garbage can and liner bags

That's a bunch of stuff. You will probably realize that there's more stuff that you can use, but wait till you get there to buy extra furniture and stuff that will take up space. Dorms are smaller than you think, especially when half the space belongs to someone else!
