  1. Even after using a 3 prong plug ( AKA a ground plug) Be sure to have an electrician instal a GFI, Or ground fault interupter. in the electrical plugs above your counter top. This will act as a faster breaker in the event anything electrical is droped into the sink. Better to spend a little money rather than get zorched by an apliance.
