Borussia Dortmund defender Marcel Schmelzer has expressed his disappointment on the sorry 2-1 loss to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hannover-96-c39492 this past weekend. He claimed that his side played some brilliant football in throughput the course of the match
but a sudden lapse in concentration in the last five minutes cost all three points.

in the clash but creating many scoring opportunities.
Schmelzer insisted that his side played brilliant attacking football throughout the match but failed to convert the chances in the end. He admitted that his side dictated the match and were unlucky to concede twice in the end.
“Last year we were accused of always waiting to hit our opponents on the counter. Now we're the ones dictating the play going forward. The result today is completely unacceptable. We simply gave too many chances away,” he was quoted
as saying in an interview.
The defender rued missed chances and claimed that they will have to concentrate harder and be more focused throughout the match. He played down reports that the team missed suspended Mario Gotze for the clash and claimed that these
are just excuses.
“It's got nothing to with our ability rather with our concentration. After the 86th minute there wasn't a doubt in my mind that we were going to win the match. We can't just point to the fact that Mario was missing. We have such
a large squad we should be able to cope with any injuries,” he concluded.
Marcel Schmelzer has so far made 74 league appearances for Borussia Dortmund and is yet to score his first goal for the German champions.
