the better of Hamburg in an away game.
Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp insisted that is side will not be fazed by the UEFA Champions League draw earlier this week which will see them compete against the likes of Real Madrid, Ajax and Manchester City in Europe. He admitted
that the side is focussed on winning the game against their Bundesliga counterparts this weekend.
“Nurnberg were and still are the dominant issue this week,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Nuremberg boss Dieter Hecking is also expecting a tough fixture against the German champions, but is confident that the win last week will give the players a lot of confidence. He added that the team will do everything they can
to get hold of all three points at the end of the day and called from support from the fans.
“We are expecting a completely different opponent. There is a positive atmosphere within the club and we want to take advantage of that. We want to do all we can to keep the three points in Nurnberg and everybody is going to have
to raise their game and exceed themselves,” Hecking added.
On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke stated that it will not be easy for his side in Europe. He admitted that being drawn in the ‘Group of Death’ is always difficult for every side, but is hopeful of a
successful campaign.
“It is an incredibly tough yet incredibly attractive group. All four teams are their league's champions and heroes are born in a group like this,” Watzke concluded.
Borussia Dortmund were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League last season after they ended at the bottom of the group. Despite a poor season in Europe, the side went on to win the domestic double comprising of the league and
