German League winners’ Borussia Dortmund have asked fans to stop their protests with immediate effect. The supporters have planned a gathering during their side’s DFB-Pokal match against Hannover 96 at Signal Iduna Park, as they
are angry over the possible changes to security.
A large proportion of fans in the country are dissatisfied with the implementation of stricter rules, which are ruining the experience of watching the game in the stadiums. They have voiced their anger by staying silent for the
starting 12 minutes of a few matches.

that the team is aware of the protests planned for the German Cup tie.
It stated that more fans will be there to support the Borussians win the encounter, and asked them to give their full backing to the defending league champions. It suggested that the club understands the fans’ fears and completely
sympathise with them.
"We know that protests are planned among some fans for the game against Hannover. But we also know that many fans will be supporting us. We ask you not to allow trenches to be dug within the fan community and between you and us,"
the letter read.
"We have accepted and respected your fears and concerns that triggered the protests in recent weeks. It was not easy playing football in these conditions. So we want to ask you, BVB fans, to support us again tomorrow. Loud. Unconditionally. Patient. Just like
we know you can," the letter finally concluded.
However, the trainer and captain admitted that it is tough to play in the present situation. Therefore, they urged the supporters to drop their Wednesday’s plan and help Dortmund get a crucial in the cup clash. Last season saw
